West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital’s Home Health Receives Honor

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital’s Home Health Agency has been named a 2021 HHCAHPS Honors Elite recipient. The award is based on patient satisfaction survey results and given by HEALTHCAREfirst, a leading provider of web-based home health and hospice software, billing and coding services. This annual review recognizes agencies that continuously provide a positive patient experience and high-quality care as measured from the patient’s point of view. Data is analyzed from the performance of the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems, or HHCAHPS, survey. The survey data was measured from April 2020 through March 2021.

“We are honored to receive this award,” says Anne Welch, RN, BSN, administrator with West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital’s Home Health Agency. “Our team continuously strives for excellence when delivering care and it’s great to see this result.”

The Home Health Agency of WCCH provides care for patients within a 50-mile radius of the WCCH hospital campus in Sulphur. Services include skilled nursing, home health aide services, wound care as well as physical, occupational and speech therapies.
