West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital Expands Longstanding Partnership with Aetna Through Aetna Medicare Network Participation

Sulphur, LA (November 13) – West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) announced today that it has become an in-network provider with Aetna Medicare plans, effective November 1, 2025. This expansion builds upon WCCH’s longstanding partnership with Aetna, which began in 1996, and broadens access to care for Aetna Medicare-insured members.

“We are pleased to expand our relationship with Aetna through this new agreement with Aetna Medicare,” said Jobie James, WCCH chief financial officer. “This partnership reinforces our shared commitment to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare to the residents of southwest Louisiana. Aetna Medicare members can now receive care at WCCH at in-network benefit levels, ensuring continuity of care and reduced out-of-pocket costs.”

Through this expanded participation, Aetna Medicare members will have in-network access to WCCH’s full continuum of services, including emergency, inpatient, outpatient and specialty care. In addition, WCCH-affiliated clinics are expected to join the Aetna Medicare network on December 1, 2025, further enhancing access to local, coordinated care.
