WCCH to Host Diabetes Awareness Day Seminar on November 8

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) will host a free seminar on diabetes management at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, at Dynamic Dimensions Fitness Center, located at 545 Cypress Street, in Sulphur. Featured speakers include Tyler Zachary, MD, endocrinologist, with Imperial Health and member of the WCCH medical staff; Adele Stewart, certified exercise and fitness specialist for Dynamic Dimensions Fitness Centers; Cynthia Chantlin, RD, LDN, CDCES, diabetes education coordinator for WCCH; June McBride, RN, CIC, infection prevention coordinator for WCCH and John Gaines from Medtronic.

Tips on disease management, as well as staying fit with diabetes, will be discussed. The seminar is free; however, seating is limited.  Lunch will be served.
