WCCH to Host Community Health Fair in Starks

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) will hold a community health fair open to the public in Starks on Saturday, August 17, from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Starks First Baptist Church Gym located at 128 LA-109 in Starks. A variety of health screenings will be offered at no cost. Screenings include: lipid panel (triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL and HDL cholesterol), blood pressure, blood glucose and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test for men over 40.

Representatives from WCCH, Dynamic Dimensions Fitness, the Office of Public Health and Imperial Calcasieu Human Services Authority (ImCAL) will be on hand to provide information on living a healthy lifestyle and resources available in our community.
