WCCH Names Deculus Director of Care Management

West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) is pleased to announce that Sherron Deculus, RN, RHIA, has been named director of Care Management. In her new role, Sherron will direct the hospital care management and discharge planning activities, and will work closely with staff, physicians, leaders and others to assure that integrated and effective programs are in place to include coordination of care, prospective, concurrent and retrospective reviews, social service activities and discharge planning functions. Sherron brings over 20 years of healthcare experience in the hospital environment, ranging from inpatient coding, case management, core measure abstraction, utilization review and direct patient care.
In addition to her Science Degree in Nursing from McNeese State University, Sherron holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana and is a Registered Health Information Administrator.
