WCCH Honors March & April Employees of the Month

WCCH recently recognized its March and April Employees of the Month for 2019. April Trahan and Laura Pryor were those selected to receive the honor during this time period.

April Trahan is an LPN at the Johnson Bayou Rural Health Clinic where she serves not only as the clinic nurse and much more to the lose-knit community. “April is an outstanding individual that is very deserving of this award,” says Tressie Brunson, director of physician management services. “Her kindness and compassion are genuine which is why she is loved by her patients and respected by her peers.” She has been with WCCH for 12 years.

Laura Pryor, Pharm.D, serves as a clinical pharmacist in WCCH’s Pharmacy where she provides clinical services such as dose optimization, profile reviews, drug safety monitoring, protocol development as well as prepares medications and provides patient counseling. “Laura’s kind and understanding nature exemplifies exceptional service. She is always willing to help her patients and team, and is very skilled in her profession,” says Damian France, Director of Pharmacy. She has been with WCCH for 10 years.
