WCCH Announces Early Closure of Some Clinic/Outpatient Services Ahead of Severe Weather

Given the severe weather threat for our area, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) announces the early closure of some clinic/outpatient services for Tuesday, January 24. Patients scheduled for an appointment on Tuesday will be contacted by WCCH staff about rescheduling.

The following clinics and outpatient services will close at noon:

  • All Rural Health Clinics (Hackberry, Johnson Bayou & Vinton)
  • Calcasieu Family Physicians (Carlyss)
  • ENT Associates of WCCH
  • OBG-1 of WCCH
  • Dynamic Dimensions Fitness Centers (Moss Bluff & Sulphur) will close at 2 p.m.
  • Sulphur and Westlake Diagnostic Centers of WCCH will close at 2 p.m.
  • Outpatient Lab Draw Station/Path Lab will close at 2:30 p.m.

The Community Health Center of WCCH will remain open for walk-in patients only. The ER remains open and available.

“WCCH strongly advises community members to stay tuned to local news media outlets for the most up-to-date weather information,” says Matthew Welsh, director of marketing and communications for WCCH. Hospital administration is currently monitoring the situation. Any additional operational updates will be made available on the hospital’s social media channels.
