West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital Announces Clinic/Outpatient Service Closures Ahead of Inclement Weather

Given the impending threat of severe cold weather to our region, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) announces the closure of some clinic/outpatient services for Monday, February 15. Patients scheduled for an appointment on Monday will be contacted by WCCH staff about rescheduling.

“WCCH strongly advises community members to stay tuned to local news media outlets for the most up-to-date weather information,” says Matthew Welsh, director of marketing and communications for West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. “The roads will be treacherous, so avoid any unnecessary travel at all costs,” advises Welsh.

Hospital administration is currently monitoring the situation and will continue to make operational decisions as the winter weather event progresses. A determination about clinic/outpatient services for Tuesday, February 16, will be made Monday afternoon.
