Melissa Reeves, RN and MeMe Trahan, RN, with West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH) have earned RN First Assistant (RNFA) certification from the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
The AORN defines an RNFA as a perioperative registered nurse who works in collaboration with the surgeon and healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
