Laughlin Named WCCH Director of Materials Management

James “Toby” Laughlin was recently named director of materials management at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital (WCCH). As director of materials management, Laughlin will supervise purchasing, delivery and storeroom personnel.

Laughlin has 40 years of experience in healthcare materials management and supply chain management and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from McNeese State University. In his previous role as director of supply chain management operations at Baylor Scott & White Health, Laughlin oversaw all supply chain operations for the facility for all clinical areas, including surgery, cath lab, imaging and 15 off-site facilities. He has held positions as project manager and regional director of supply chain management, overseeing various health systems and off-site facilities.
