Description

Provides front-line and/or service to end-users on software and hardware problems related to application and network issues.  Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance with the organization's computer systems.  Identifies problems, troubleshoots and provides advice to assist users.  Coordinates with other IT staff to resolve problems if necessary.  Provide support to staff on all company supported software applications with emphasis on McKesson application support and network troubleshooting.  Assist with computer problems and determine source, and advise on apporpriate action, including providing technical support over the phone and in person, and maintaining the smooth operation of the WCCH Information Technology applications.  IT Support Technician works under the supervision of the Chief Information Officer

Educational Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information managment, or other related computer/technology business degree is required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Basic computer experience required
  • Knowledge in MS Office software and Windows operating system, and knowledge of networking protocols.  Experience demonstrating the ability to meet IT goals and appropriate IT solution.

Special Requirements:

  • Experience with Mckesson Electronic Medical records applications, including sever and storage database applications and a thorough knowledge of technology environments including LAN/WAN; Windows;Severs; and Network equipment.
