During National Nurses Week, a celebration that was held in May, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital recognized the unwavering skill and dedication of the hospital's registered nurses, licensed practical nurse, nurse aides and support personnel. This year, seven awards were presented to individuals that displayed extraordinary conduct and were chosen by members of the nursing staff to be this year's recipients. These individuals, along with their awards are listed below:

WCCH RN of the Year – Saberia Jones, RN, Intensive Care Unit

WCCH LPN of the Year – Mary Fontenot, LPN, Third Floor

WCCH Nurse Aide of the Year – Emily Gaskin, CNA, Second Floor

WCCH Support Person of the Year – Anette Carrier, Second Floor

WCCH Home Health Agency RN of the Year – Amy Drymon, RN

WCCH Home Health Agency Nurse Aide of the Year – Suzanne Guillory, CNA

WCCH Home Health Agency Support Person of the Year – Nell Soileau
