A diagnosis of Diabetes often leaves one confused and with many unanswered questions. On Tuesday, July 21^st, at Noon, in DeQuincy Memorial Hospital's cafeteria, local healthcare professionals will be on hand to provide diabetic education to area residents.

The group, a partnership between DeQuincy Memorial Hospital and West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital's Wound Healing Center, will meet monthly to discuss topics of interest among the diabetic community. The topic of discussion for July's meeting is “The Complications of Diabetes.” To reserve a seat, please call (337) 786-1200. There is no charge to attend these monthly meetings and lunch will be provided by DeQuincy Memorial Hospital.
