Brian Gamborg, MD, family medicine physician, was recently elected president of West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital's medical staff at the December 2011 annual general medical staff meeting. As President, Gamborg will work to ensure the quality and efficiency of clinical services and performance within the hospital.

In his term, Gamborg will serve as chairman of the Medical Executive Committee and organized general medical staff, and will actively participate on the Board of Commissioners of West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital. He currently serves as the Chairman of the hospital's Emergency Room Committee.
